Traditional recruitment is outdated. Add to that a skills gap and an industry perception problem and change is needed. That’s why the Brentmiester uses Strategic Resourcing.
“Right, we needed a new hire yeah so we filmed the whole thing — the journey, the drama, the recruitment magic. You’ve got me, Gareth, bit of banter, bit of brilliance, and a Site Manager at the end of it who actually knows what he’s doing. Like The Apprentice, but with more personality and fewer pointy shoes. Watch the full video, see how it’s done. Might learn a thing or two. Go on — treat yourself.”
“If I ran recruitment software, it’d be like a special ops mission. But Strategic Resourcing does it better. Respect.”
Yeah, so, I was lookin’ for a Site Manager — proper role, big job, big boots. You can’t just chuck any old numpty on-site and expect 'em to manage people, can you?
Nah. You need someone with gumption, a bit of leadership, bit of flair. Like me really, but with a hard hat and less jokes.
So I went through Strategic Resourcing — top firm, proper clever, all digital, all streamlined. It’s like Tinder for trades, but more high-vis and less awkward first dates, you know? Next thing I know — boom — got the right candidate, experience, qualifications, the lot. Didn’t even have to scroll through a hundred CVs with ‘good team player’ and ‘proficient in Excel’ — they just sorted it. Easy.
Now we’ve got a Site Manager who actually manages the site. Revolutionary. That’s what I call recruitment done right.
Strategic Resourcing — they’ve got the ‘strategic’ bit in the name, so you know it’s serious. If it was any more efficient, I’d be out of a job… and that’s saying something.
“I once led a recruitment exercise in paintball. High stakes, low success. Strategic Resourcing did betterer. Much betterer.”
